Set aside from reading and writing, I am a music lover!  More often than naught, the TV is turned off and I have a CD in the stereo!  I listen to all kinds of music from Rock to Classical...Opera to Country…Contemporary Christian to New Age.

I will say, however, that my favorite music genre is Celtic!  Its haunting melody can illuminate the soul, bringing forth joy and sadness within the stories they tell.  It’s no wonder that I love Celtic music with my heavy Celtic background!

        One of the things that I do when outlining my books in the brainstorming process is to compile a soundtrack for the book.  Then as I’m writing, I listen to the book’s soundtrack.  I know it sounds a bit corny, but it really helps bring out my characters and their emotions.  Below, I’ve listed some music that I also listen to when I’m writing.  Again, I’ve added links to their websites.
