The Crimson Dragon Saga
Dear readers, I present to you Rhys, Bran, Gareth, Dafydd, Gavin, Drystan, and Rhodri. The seven Hywel brothers of The Crimson Dragon Saga! These seven warriors from Wales vowed if they were to be defeated by Edward I, the king of the English, they would find a way to come back and reclaim their holdings. So on the eve of the first battle, the seven men hold a secret ritual in the caves beneath Caerphilly Castle, the keep that belongs to the oldest brother Rhys, binding them together even in the afterlife. All fought with valor to the death and now all seven of their ghosts find themselves in the world between life and death, desperate to make contact with the only women that can bring them back to life to save them and their lands. 
This series is in the works and "Secret Ritual" is tentatively scheduled for release Winter 2010!
Secret Ritual - Book One Briallen Lloyd is an award winning horticulturist who has been commissioned to develop the grounds of Caerphilly Castle. While there, she falls in love with the story of the seven brothers who died defending their lands and feels a pull like no other to care for this 13th Century Welsh castle and its gardens. One evening, she is in the shed putting away her gardening tools when she turns to walk out of the old wooden door and comes face to face with Rhys, the oldest of the Hywel brothers, demanding to know who she was and why she had invaded his keep! Bran Hywel – Carew Castle – The first born of the twins. He is handsome, but fierce. Bran is his oldest brother’s right hand man and the voice of reason out of all brothers. Into the Lair - Book Three Quest of Fire - Book Five Gavin Hywel – Cilgerran Castle – Gavin is the musician of the family. He has been known to sing rich, Celtic songs to woo the hearts of his ladies. Firestone - Book Six Drystan Hywel – Dryslwyn Castle – Drystan is quiet, reserved, and at his best when training the family’s war horses. Is strong in character but shy when it comes to women. 
Rhys ap Hywel – The oldest and tallest of all seven brothers, is rigid, demanding, and takes his role as the head of the family very serious. Rhys has to have things his way…but for good reason. He knows that the English king has his sights set on Wales and is fearful for his family and their holdings. He never took the time to marry and feels that a woman would be nothing but a distraction from his mission to protect Wales.

Gareth Hywel – Kidwelly Castle – The second of the twins, He is the most athletic and agile when it comes to swordplay. Gareth trains their soldiers with a firm hand yet fair.

Dafydd Hywel – Cardigan Castle – Dafydd , the middle brother has successfully taken their family’s holdings and doubled them, turning the Hywel family into one of Wales’s most wealthy. But don’t let this business savvy man fool you. He is fierce on the list fields and with a lance cradled in his arm is one of Wales’s premier jouster.

Flame of the Heart - Book Seven
Rhodri Hywel – Abergavenny Castle – Rhodri is the youngest of the seven brothers and the most reckless. He is willing to take chances which at times have gotten him in trouble. Out of all the brothers, Rhodri is known best with the ladies.
